developed-after meticulous research and testing-a new
product: cut-resistant underwear, made with a high-
strength composite yarn comparable to steel
fiber.Constantly striving to enhance the alpine skiing
experience in all its forms-for both athletes and
enthusiasts-Vitalini has designed this protective, high-
tech undergarment to offer superior protection against
cuts caused by skis or other sharp objects.The FIS
(International Ski Federation), through its Athlete Safety
Commission, has established a dedicated testing protocol
to determine the certification class ensuring full safety
specifically for Alpine Skiing. This test evaluates the quality
of cut-resistant fabrics under pressure, replicating the
force and motion of a ski blade over a 200 mm path,
simulating an actual cut on the body.Cut resistance is
assessed according to FIS star levels.

These tests have led to the creation of a fabric classification
system for Alpine Skiing, represented by a personalized FIS
label, printed or sewn onto the garment, displaying one to

fabric has been officially certified with THREE STARS – the
highest level of protection.
BIVIUM System:
This is an overlap of fabrics joined by tapes that indicate
the cutting line for Emergency Opening.
We have engineered an innovative joining system that
uses colored tapes to enable rapid opening in
emergency situations.Instead of a traditional seam,
which would be difficult to cut, we overlap the fabries
and secure them with a highly visible tape: the central
yellow stripe flanked by two red lines clearly marks the
cuttable area.This means that, when needed, the two
panels can be easily opened by cutting the tape,
allowing quick and safe access. A technical detail that
ensures practicality and safety in every situation.
